Translated from the original by Ana Giménez.
1.-From today´s Word of God. 1John 4,7-10: God is love.
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins”.
2.-I believe that catholic couples, those who make a family, should have the compromise to commit themselves to help each other in their spiritual life, as Gracián and Teresa did
3.-One of my brothers has recently read an article which says that the information age we are at now, can develop into a new kind of human being.
I have also read that Neanderthal men died due to the fact they had less communication tools. In our new age, technological advances warn us about incommunication risks. Therefore, friendship and love lived by everyone of us can help a bit so as the technical advances don´t dehumanice us.
4.-I am going to answer to the question that our friend Tong Tong asked yesterday from the Philippines, related to the accusations against Gracián, seen from today´s point of view. I haven´t studied Gracián deeply so I may not get a proper answer. He took serious decisions throughout his life and got them wrong in more than one occasion. I am also sure that He had his own weakness, as we all have. I have no evidence that at the end of her life Teresa was deceived by him, neither any proof of jealousy of Juan De La Cruz. Those are Efrén de la Madre de Dios’ opinions, insufficiently substantiated. Unfortunately I think this topic will always be a thorn in the side
